Happy New Year!
01.02.05 (12:26 am)   [edit]
Hope you all made it safely into 2005 :) My mate Nige did a round up of 2004 and since I'm bored I figured I'd do the same! Altho it wasnt my best year, but it certainly wasnt my worst.
January - Pretty good month, celebrated the new year with family and friends, spent most of january wishing I had gone to Planet Shakers. Spent some time down at Blair Gowrie with Mike, Nathan, Nat and their family. Lotsa fun and got back into the spirit of school and started my VCE.

February - Turned sweet 16. Too sweet IMO but yeah you deal with it. Managed to be sick on the actual day which was both good and bad as I got the majority of the week off! My house at school won the swimming carnival as usual and my hero Adam Ramanauskas returned to footy after battling cancer!

March - AFL season got underweigh so my entertainment was back! Apart from my mates wedding and meeting Shane Crawford again that was the only good thing about March. March to June is such a blur. All i remember is sadness, anger and helplessness. Some of you will understand why, but I think most wont. I finally left the things behind that were keeping me locked in.
Having said that there were a few things for those missing months that deserve a mention.

April - Met Tristan Cartledge from the Bombers again and discovered that when he kneels down he is almost as big as me.. I dont think theres much hope for him and I lol. Dustin Fletcher also actually got a free kick. I know this because I actually was sad enough to do what the old saying says "put a ring aroung the date".

May - Dustin Fletcher got another free kick!!

June - Started to feel good again. Did really well on my exams and had great holidays. Passed my L's first go. Met my first Blitzers too (i.e people from bomberblitz.com/forum for those who do not kno) even if I did spend the entire time perving on Tristan Cartledge as opposed to talking to my new found friends.

July - Finally got off my buttox and went back to church. This itme another new one. Boom, which has been refered to before on here. I made some really good friends there and I'm hoping to last longer at Boom than I did at some of my other churches. This is number 4 in 5 years! Not a great record. Met some more Blitzers, felt on top of the world. In July someone touched my life as well, but that too is now in the past.

August - Started going to Boom full time, still enjoying the company of the people who were really important to me. Made a pretty big mistake in August, actually 4 mistakes in the space of one afternoon, but one was worse than the others. meh You live you learn hey?

September - Fixed some broken frienships and rekindled some old ones. Really got into the Boom culture, made relationships solid. Spent a lot of time with mates and felt on top of the world. The best holidays I'd had in years I reckon. Bombers missed out on that one day in September, but I have high hopes for next year, unlike many I know :S

October - Went to my first Semi Formal as Wilma Flintsone. Started to panic about my up coming 3/4 exam. Ended up missing a lot of church stuff to Study and ended up cramming badly.

November - Stuff stops going so great. I did ok on the 3/4 exam but I know I could have done better. Did pretty well on the yr 11 exams, especially since I was sick and had a fever for one of them. I got betrayed and lied too. It hurt a lot, but it hasnt killed me yet so I spose I'm stronger for it.

December - Picking up the pieces and having the time of my life. Spent time with friends and plotted a get away with mates. Had a great Christmas and New Year.

Last year left me with some scars, just like 2003 but I'm much more satisfied with 04. I met some special peopel this year but still got very hurt. But I survived it. Now I'm just pretending I'm not scared about year 12 and the big bad world after it, looking forward to going away and looking forward to Planet Shakers.

So there you have it, my long review of 2004. Keep safe and enjoy the rest of the holidays. :)

Until Next Time
