Whoa its been aaaaaagggggggggggeeeeeeee ssssssss since I've added an entry! I spose some things came up and I didnt have time to write... or something :P
So for the like one person who reads I'll tell ya what I've been up to these holidays!
On the first Sunday we had a farewell BBQ for my mate Rach who is currently in PEI and returns in the new year. On the off chance you read this I MISS YOU! lol. We had a great night, Rach was in story telling mood and told us some interesting tales of the adventures of her PEI friends. Gary wanted to have a D&M with us about trees, Kate had problems with the cooking and we made a few 'interesting' phone calls that involved Sam and Rach asking people if they were single and saying that they were friends of a friend. Very Nice!
The first week of my holidays was spent sleeping in, staying up late and watching lots of TV. I even have a routine! Get up in the arvo, watch young and the restless, watch 3rd rock from the sun, read or something til 5 and watch MASH, which was then followed by That 70s show at 7 and then the various programs for the night including Sumemrland & One Tree Hill. That Friday was spent at Southland, my house and Mikes house where Mike, Me, Mel and Bec (aka Awesome 4some blondie Besties or something.. i dont get it.. im not blonde!) mucked around a lot and ran into a couple of people we knew.
I know Ive mentioned Boom before and I really didnt go enough this tern but I was sick and studying for a lot of it but meh. The last one i was able to go to was a BBQ. Great night, played some volley ball, went for a walk and enjoyed the scenery ;) No really it was a nice park :P
We met up with the lovely Boom people again on the Wednesday for our last Urban Life for the year. Our leaders are so awesome, they bought every member of our group a brand new Bible! I love our group! It's going to be rocking next year (ive just realised how much I sound like the leaders! Should I be worried?)
That week was topped off with my friend Kate's party where we managed to get sufficiently wet from sitting in a boat on her pool and making her boyfriend fall into the pool! Very good night lol. The following night I went to see my brother in a play where he was the lead role. Its always amusing seeing your borhter in a monks outfit with a high pitched voice ;)
This week has been quieter. Went to the city on Monday to see Oceans 12. Very good but kinda confusing... altho I proably should have spent more time concentrating on the plot and less on Brad Pitt :drools:
Yesterday I had a blood test and nearly faited so that wasnt great. But the day suddenly got heaps better at my buddy Elise's 18th. Was really good to see some mates I hadnt seen in a while. Most of our time was spent gossiping but it was great. There was even a guy dressed as Santa who tried to pick up many of the girls. Mike even got a new nickname - Thingo. :roll:
So there you have it. My holidays so far. Next month Mike, Bec & I are going away for a few days and then we have Planet Shakers!! I'll be sure to keep you posted lol
